BJ and Pede Survives the Night ! "Night of The Living Dead Movie Short" (28mins)

After the Comic:

You know, those old black-and-white horror movies always started the same way: an abandoned farmhouse, strange noises outside and somebody insisting, “There’s nothing to worry about.” Five minutes later, the dead are climbing through the windows!

In this Bootleg Comics version, Pede and I weren’t sticking around to discover whether those zombies wanted dinner or wanted us for dinner. I grabbed my coffee, Pede headed for the Jeep and we made tracks.

And yes, I had to say it: “At least the brother didn’t die first this time!”

Bootleg Comic's Presents: "Betrick" starring BJ and Wife Rita

After the Comic: Betricked!

Have you ever opened your mouth and talked yourself right out of something good? That’s exactly what happened to me! Rita magically put a table full of fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, greens, cornbread and sweet potatoes in front of me—and then I had to remind her that I was trying to become a vegetarian.

Before I could change my mind, the soul food disappeared and was replaced by a mountain of raw vegetables and fruit. I wanted to eat healthier, but I didn’t mean I wanted the entire produce department sitting on my plate!

Pede just sat there looking at me as if to say, “You talked yourself right out of the fried chicken!” Sometimes it’s better to chew your food before you chew yourself out of a good meal.

You know, it just goes to show you—be careful what you say around a wife who can work magic in the kitchen!

The Ghetto Dentist..."Not in the hood"

After the Comic....

The Ghetto Dentist promised a brand-new front partial in five minutes—and technically, she delivered. Unfortunately, she gave her patient enough front teeth to open a soda bottle!

When the mirror came out, so did the buck teeth, the insults and eventually the entire dental staff—running for their lives!

You know, it just goes to show you: fast dental work may save you time, but it could also leave you with a smile that arrives five minutes before you do!

This is comedy! "There are Fabulous Black Dentist" this is just a over exaggerated true story that happened to a friend"

Until the next rescued laugh,

BJ

BJ and "Dennis the Menance Slingshot Shenanigans"

After the Comic....

Dennis promised it would be just one little shot. What could possibly go wrong?

Well, that pebble bounced from a tin can to a street sign, a mailbox and a garden sprinkler. Before I knew it, the checkers were flying, the neighborhood was soaked and a hamburger had landed right on top of my cap!

Dennis asked if I was having fun yet. My answer was simple: NO!!!!!

Pede knew the truth before I did—this kid is trouble! I thought everything was finally under control when I put the slingshot in the trash can. Then Dennis smiled and pulled out a spare.

You know, it just goes to show you: when Dennis says he isn’t aiming at anything yet, that’s your warning to duck!

Until the next rescued laugh, "Now fo the real Dennis".....

BJ and The Refrigerator Perry - One Yard Glory Run!

After the Comic....

Back during the 1985 football season, William “The Refrigerator” Perry was my favorite football player. He was built like a moving wall, but what made him special was his personality—and the excitement he created whenever they put him in the backfield near the goal line.

This comic gave me the chance to do something I never got to do in real life: play quarterback and hand the football to The Fridge at the one-yard line! Once that big man started moving, those defenders weren’t trying to tackle him—they were just hoping to survive the delivery!

Perry crashes through, scores the touchdown, spikes the football and immediately starts looking for the snack table. That’s how I remember The Fridge: powerful, entertaining and always fun to watch.

It just goes to show you: when you need one tough yard, don’t call a running back—open the refrigerator!

Until the next rescued laugh,

BJ

BJ and Lucy..."Chocolate Factory Chaos"

After the Comic....

BJ and Lucy thought wrapping chocolates would be an easy job—until the conveyor belt went into overdrive!

Before long, chocolates were flying, pockets were stuffed and profits were disappearing fast. But as Lucy would say: “BJ, so what!”

Sometimes teamwork means solving the problem. Other times, it means eating the evidence!

Until the next rescued laugh,

BJ

Now for the real Lucy and Ethel in action !!!!........

"Never Go Junking With Fred Sanford!"

After the Comic

I thought Fred and I were going junking to make a little extra money. Instead, we lost a washing machine, chased a runaway tire, got attacked by a recliner, and nearly scattered half the junkyard across Los Angeles!

After all that running, bouncing, and hanging onto Fred’s truck, I finally asked, “What did we make, Fred?”

Fred looked at me and said, “Nothing, you big dummy!”

You know, it just goes to show you: one man’s trash may be another man’s treasure—but only if it stays in the truck!

Until our next adventure,

BJ

Butt Kicking and Coffee !!

After the Comic

What started as a peaceful coffee run turned into flying feet, loose shoes, and bad guys landing everywhere—including inside a trash can!

Bruce Lee was so fast that the troublemakers never knew what hit them. I did my part too, although I’m still not sure whether my fighting style was skill, luck, or just trying to keep my coffee from spilling.

You know, it just goes to show you: A good friend will always have your back—and a senior discount tastes even better after you’ve kicked a little butt!

Until our next adventure,

BJ

Now a little clip action......

Hi Pie!!

🎬 After the Silent Movie Still

Some days start out quiet... then Moe, Larry, and Curly show up, and suddenly you're wearing a pie instead of eating one!

I had planned on a peaceful day in the workshop, but with the Stooges around, "peace and quiet" is just another way of saying, "Stand by for flying pastries!" One minute you're minding your own business, and the next you're wondering if whipped cream comes out of overalls.

The good news? Nobody stayed mad. The laughter was louder than the pie splat, and that's what made those old slapstick comedies so memorable. They reminded us that even life's biggest messes can become our funniest memories.

Until next time... keep smiling, duck when someone says "Wait a minute!", and remember... the pie washes off, but the laughs last forever. 🍰🎞️

"I Bumped Into Charlie Chaplain"

After the Comic...

I've always admired Charlie Chaplin because he could make people laugh without saying a single word. That inspired me to imagine what it would be like if I stepped into one of his silent movies with Pede by my side.

One accidental bump, two mixed-up lunches, and a whole lot of confusion turned into an unforgettable adventure. In the end, nobody got hurt, everyone had a good laugh, and I guess I learned that not every surprise is a bad one... even if it means eating a can of sardines!

Sometimes the funniest friendships begin with the most unexpected moments... or, in this case, a little fishy! 🎬🐟

The Anaconda That Almost Hugged Me to Death... Almost!

After the Comic...

Watching Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom was always one of my favorite TV memories growing up. I thought it would be fun to imagine what might happen if I joined Marlin Perkins and Jim Fowler on one of their famous adventures.

Pede proved to be the smartest one in the jungle, while I learned that wrestling a giant anaconda is definitely not for me!

I hope this comic gave you a few laughs and brought back some great memories of one of television's most unforgettable outdoor shows. Sometimes it's fun to imagine what would happen if we could step right into those classic programs and become part of the adventure ourselves.

The moral? A little teamwork, a good sense of humor, and the right friends can help you through just about any wild adventure. And don't forget... keep your insurance paid up! 😄

BJ asking for some advice from Fred ?

After the Comic...

I had a lot of fun putting this one together. Growing up, Sanford and Son was one of those shows that could make you laugh no matter how many times you watched it. Fred always had a scheme, Lamont usually got caught in the middle, and Aunt Esther never backed down from anybody.

I thought it would be fun to imagine what might happen if I stopped by the Sanford house looking for a little advice. As you probably figured out, asking Fred for advice can be just as dangerous as borrowing one of his "miracle" inventions! Thankfully, Aunt Esther was there to keep things from getting completely out of hand.

I hope this comic brought back a few memories and gave you a good laugh. That's what BJ Comics is all about—mixing classic television, a little nostalgia, and a few new adventures that never happened on the original shows.

Thanks for reading, and remember...

Sometimes the best treasure isn't in the junkyard—it's the laughter we share along the way!

"Dashiki" is Back in the Groove

I think all of us have a little "Dashiki" in us.

Sure, the calendar says 2026, but that doesn't mean we have to leave behind the things that made life special. Good music, good manners, good conversations, and treating people with kindness never go out of style.

The world changes, technology changes, and even gas stations don't have attendants anymore. But peace, love, respect, and a smile are always in fashion.

So whether your favorite memories come from the '60s, '70s, '80s, or any other time, hold on to the best parts—and bring those good vibes into today.

As Dashiki would say...

"What's up? It's still 1969 to me... even though it's 2026!" ✌🏾

Sometimes the biggest adventure is learning to do the right thing

We all make mistakes. It's all a part of being human. But what really matters is what we do next. Own it, fix it, make it right. That is how trust is built, friendships grow, and life becomes richer than any trophy. Now if you don't remember or know "Bobby Bumps".......

BJ, Wife and Pede Vist Westworld

                                                                                                      Historic Guest Sketcher: Guess Who?

Well, that vacation didn't exactly go as planned!

Between a showdown with an android gunslinger, Pede keeping his cool, and Rita proving she wasn't about to be pushed around, I'd say we got our money's worth at Westworld. Now here's a clip to remember.......

BJ Goes on a Crazy Time Machine Ride with Mr.Peabody and Sherman

                                                                                                       Historic Guest Sketcher: Guess Who?

Well, we survived another adventure... barely!

I learned that not every contraption  invented is what it seems, Mr. Peabody's Wayback Machine is always good for excitement, and if you're ever caught in an Old West shootout... stick close to the smartest dog in history!

BJ and Pede and Friends Get More Than Cotton Candy at the Fair

Every county fair has its attractions... but leave it to me, Pede, Jed, and Leroy to pick the wrong ones!

What started as a simple debate over whether to see the Bearded Woman or the Alligator Man quickly turned into the fastest foot race on the midway. Pede thought it was a waste of time, while the rest of us were just trying to stay one step ahead of the over weight Bearded Lady!

So grab a lemonade, hold on to your funnel cake, and enjoy more crazy adventures.

Now watch a little history about the bearded ladies......

BJ vs. Dagwood's Giant Sandwich | A Funny Classic Comic Adventure

When Dagwood challenged me to tackle his legendary "Sandwich Supreme," I figured, "How hard could it be?" Even Pede wasn't so sure! One bite led to another, and before long, there were crumbs flying everywhere.

Did I conquer the biggest sandwich in comic history?

Yes!!

BJ Meets Popeye: Brutus Picks the Wrong Guy

Today BJ found himself standing face-to-face with the biggest bully in the harbor—Brutus. Before the fists start flying, Popeye steps between them and reaches for his trusty spinach... the rest was history.
