BJ and The Refrigerator Perry - One Yard Glory Run!

After the Comic....

Back during the 1985 football season, William “The Refrigerator” Perry was my favorite football player. He was built like a moving wall, but what made him special was his personality—and the excitement he created whenever they put him in the backfield near the goal line.

This comic gave me the chance to do something I never got to do in real life: play quarterback and hand the football to The Fridge at the one-yard line! Once that big man started moving, those defenders weren’t trying to tackle him—they were just hoping to survive the delivery!

Perry crashes through, scores the touchdown, spikes the football and immediately starts looking for the snack table. That’s how I remember The Fridge: powerful, entertaining and always fun to watch.

It just goes to show you: when you need one tough yard, don’t call a running back—open the refrigerator!

Until the next rescued laugh,

BJ and Lucy..."Chocolate Factory Chaos"

After the Comic....

BJ and Lucy thought wrapping chocolates would be an easy job—until the conveyor belt went into overdrive!

Before long, chocolates were flying, pockets were stuffed and profits were disappearing fast. But as Lucy would say: “BJ, so what!”

Sometimes teamwork means solving the problem. Other times, it means eating the evidence!

Until the next rescued laugh,

BJ

Now for the real Lucy and Ethel in action !!!!........

Butt Kicking and Coffee !!

After the Comic

What started as a peaceful coffee run turned into flying feet, loose shoes, and bad guys landing everywhere—including inside a trash can!

Bruce Lee was so fast that the troublemakers never knew what hit them. I did my part too, although I’m still not sure whether my fighting style was skill, luck, or just trying to keep my coffee from spilling.

You know, it just goes to show you: A good friend will always have your back—and a senior discount tastes even better after you’ve kicked a little butt!

Until our next adventure,

BJ

Now a little clip action......
